To be held at the Napanee Lions Club hall on Centre St. in the town of Napanee Ont., the hall can be reached from Hwy. 401, by taking the Hwy. 41 interchange at Napanee and proceeding south on Hwy. 41 (Centre St.), through the town, over the Napanee River, through the next set of traffic lights and proceed approximately 100 yards on your left to the auction site.
Announcing the dispersal of the estate collection of WM Johnson, late of the City of Kingston Ontario. Gathered over the past twenty five plus years, the collection consists of a fine selection of period formal furnishings and an extensive collection of Victorian art glass, lighting, Cameo glass, china and early porcelain.
The forth in the series of auctions will take place on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the Napanee Lions Club hall in Napanee Ont. and will consist of a cross section of the collection to include formal furnishings, art glass in Cranberry, Amberina, Satin, Coralene, Burmese, Mary Gregory, Peach Blow, Cameo glass, signed Tiffany, lighting featuring coloured hanging hall lamps, etc.
The furniture will be highlighted by a set of six fine rosewood dining chairs of exceptional quality, a mahogany Victorian glazed top corner cupboard, a single pedestal regency mahogany drop leaf table, a pair of mahogany regency arm chairs, an early 19th century mahogany sideboard, a mahogany linen press, an east coast mahogany drop leaf table attributed to Nisbet, 18th century oak drop leaf table, a regency triple leaf fold over tea table, a single high post bed in walnut (ex. McKendry collection) etc.
