Announcing the dispersal of the estate collection of WM Johnson, late of the City of Kingston Ontario. Gathered over the past twenty five plus years, the collection consists of a fine selection of period formal furnishings and an extensive collection of Victorian art glass, lighting, Cameo glass, Early American flint glass, china and early porcelain.
The first in the series of auctions will take place on Saturday April 29, 2017 at the Napanee Lions Club hall in Napanee Ont. and will consist of a cross section of the collection to include formal furnishings such as a period Queen Anne upholstered wing chair, a Regency mahogany slant front desk, a period William and Mary oak chest of drawers, a mahogany Hepplewhite server c1810, a mahoganyHepplewhite triple top games table, a late 17th/early 18th century small English gate leg table, a Georgian oak highboy chest, a pair of early 19th century Bedamire side chairs with brass inlaid back splats, etc., art glass in Cranberry, Amberina, Satin, Coralene, signed Tiffany, Burmese, Mary Gregory in various colours, Peach Blow, Georgian cut glass, Cameo glass, lighting featuring several coloured hanging hall lamps, coloured peg fonts, early American pressed glass candle sticks in clear and colour, etc.
