Ship diorama in a velvet-lined case. No document as to its origin. Could be Canadian. The frame appears to have been covered in velvet originally.  The flag is possibly a later addition as it is an advertising piece from a Toronto shoe manufacturer or it may indicate a Canadian origin.

Glazed earthenware dinner plate produced by Frances Morley & Co. 1846-1858.  This plate depicts Bartlett’s view of the Chaudiere Bridge.  Produced in England at the Broad Street Works in Shelton.  Pieces were perhaps intended for the American as well as the Canadian market.

A Queen Victorian commemorative plate. This plate is known to be made at the Burlington Glass Works, Hamilton, Trenton Glass Works, Trenton Nova Scotia and Dominion Glass Co. Ltd, Montreal.  Undated, this plate depicts the young Queen Victoria surrounded by a sunburst medallion with the Royal Coat of Arms and two heraldic shields; one with St Andrews cross, the other St George’s c. 1887 ex. George Stratford Collection.

Thomas, Quebec butter plate depicting Montmorency Falls Winter view.  This multi scene pattern of dinnerware, had a summer and winter view of the falls on this size plate, produced as part of a dinner service for the Canadian market in the 4th quarter of 19th century. The china was made in Scotland to the order of Quebec china merchant, F.T. Thomas.
