Estate Auction Sale

We have been asked by the family of Graham Thomson, late of the City of Kingston, to sell the contents of his home by unreserved auction. Plus a small number of additions, from other Kingston area homes and collections.

 

To be held at the Napanee Lions Club hall on Centre St. in the town of Napanee Ont., the hall can be reached from Hwy. 401 by taking the Hwy. 41 interchange at Napanee and proceeding south on Hwy. 41 (Centre St.), through the town, over the Napanee River, through the next set of traffic lights and proceed approximately 100 yards on your left to the auction site.

 

Featured in the sale will be a selection of Victorian and Edwardian furnishings to include upholstered ladies chairs, a platform rocker, several Victorian occasional tables, a bow front china cabinet, an Edwardian ladies Cheval dressing mirror C1880, a Victorian inlaid marble top credenza C1870, a walnut chest of drawers with carved pulls, an antique mahogany hanging corner cabinet, several floor and table lamps including examples in walnut, a walnut regulator clock, a Victorian walnut corner what-not,  vintage wicker furniture, over 70 pieces of Limoges china in a rose pattern, Royal Doulton figures, a collection of glass paper weights, a large quantity of  Edinburgh crystal stem ware in the Thistle pattern totaling 73 pieces, a collection of Goss china figures, several turn of the last century clear stem wines with emerald green bowls, a small gathering of 20th century cobalt blue glass, sterling silver including a tea service by Roden, a Birks sterling sauce boat, wood and soapstone carvings, a pair of Bristol glass vases C1860, early 19th century china plates, oil paintings and prints to include an oil on board by RH Lindsay of Brockville, an oil on canvas dating from the 19th century by J. Hughes and mounted in a gallery frame, a 1950’s era sideboard, oriental rugs, plus many more items too numerous to list.
