The Price Collection Final Sale

Patricia Price has purchased a home in Toronto and must sell the remainder of her collection in order to move to her new and much smaller home. The sale will take place, under tent at her residence, situated at 1320 King St. in the town of Port Perry Ont. on Saturday July 24th and Sunday July 25th, beginning at 10AM each day.

 Featured in the sale will be a selection of antiques and collectibles covering many fields of interest to both the new and the advanced collector in addition to the ever present Folk Art that the Prices have been known for and promoted in Canada for the past thirty plus years.

 A general list of the items to be offered will include wrought iron fire place equipment, furniture in both original finishes and in the rough including chairs and more chairs, harvest table, chests, drop leaf tables and other assorted small tables including four one drawer lamp tables, a primitive painted rocking horse from South bay, Prince Edward County, spinning wheels, wooden benches, a rare 19th century confessional screen from a church in the Mary Hill area, china to include ironstone to include examples from St. John Que. and other assorted table wares, glass table wares, a selection of leading edge toys from the 80s & 90s to include in excess of 200 boxes of plastic and rubber toys with examples in quantity of all popular toys manufactured in that era to include Power rangers, MacDonald toys, crash Test Dummies, batman, Wrestlers, action figures,  Hot Wheels, die cast toys, plus a large quantity of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles which will include chairs, action figures, Pez, puzzles, the toys  will be sold on Saturday in a separate ring and in box lots, etc., Model trains to include vintage rolling stock and track, boxed Bachmann model train rolling stock, boxed sets, a collection of railroad magazines from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, plastic Tamiya soldiers and equipment in their original boxes, plus a small quantity of vintage toys and games, vintage Christmas decorations, a large quantity of antique reference books plus other collectible hard covered books to include an extensive collection of village, town, city, township and county histories, a collection of cast iron bookends, several pedestal ashtrays, folk art walking sticks, carved and painted sculptures by well known folk artists to include Bruce Smith, Gilbert Derocheres, Seton Tompkins, Edmund Chatigny, Lawrence Davis, Clarence Webster, etc., whirligigs, nave paintings to include works by Sheila Maloney, Vic and Beth Cooper, Jason Cooper, Ross Gould, Dmytro Stryjek, Jane Buckles, Marlene Siomra, Uri Soomre, Bagshaw, etc., yard art, tools of the trade and tools of the farm, textiles including quilts, hooked rugs, blankets, oriental rugs, etc., African masks and other collectibles from that area, duck and goose decoys, pine flooring and other assorted lumber, plus many more items too numerous to list.

 A general order of the sale will be as follows.

 Saturday-toys, Christmas decorations, tools of the trades and tools of the farm, toys and model trains, reference books, glass and china table wares, coal oil lighting, assorted antique chairs, spinning wheels, paintings, lumber, etc.

 Sunday-Folk Art, early lighting, textiles, African and native Canadian masks, reference books, china, stone ware, 19th century furnishings, wrought iron fireplace equipment, decoys, paintings, baskets, rocking horses, etc.
