We have been instructed by the executors of the estate of Laura Campbell, late of 903 Maple Rd., RR2 Odessa Ont., to sell the contents of her late residence by unreserved public auction. In addition we will offer the real estate which consists of a mid 19th century story and a half frame farm house situated on approximately 44 acres of farm land. The property fronts on Maple Rd. and backs on the Wilton Creek.

 

Sale Directions: Hwy. 401 to Odessa Ont., north on County Rd. 6 to Maple Rd., left or west on Maple Rd. 2.8 Km to sale site. Watch for auction and open house signs from 401.

 

Features of the house are four bedrooms, living and dinning rooms, attached drive sheds and out buildings, several built in pine cupboards, embossed tin ceilings, pine and hardwood flooring, 200 amp electrical service. The house is livable however it is in need of restoration. The real estate will be sold subject to a reasonable reserve bid at 12 noon on sale day.

 

The contents of the home consist of fumed and oak chests of drawers, washstands and wardrobe, treadle sewing machine, trunks, blanket chest, an early built in pine cupboard with raised panels on upper and lower doors, rose head nails and original finish and brass hardware., an 8 piece 1930ís walnut dining room suite, 1930ís upholstered sofa with matching chairs, a small quantity of household dishes to include a complete toilet set, depression glass, coal oil lamps, etc.
